Journeys abroad

If you want to drive with your rental car outside of Switzerland, an additional fee (Cross Border Fee) will be charged. In case of disregard, respectively border crossing abroad without informing us, additional costs for the increased administrative effort will be charged such as for the assignment of possible parking tickets, toll fees, handling of breakdowns and accidents (vehicle exchange, damage recording) etc.

Please note that driving a Hertz Switzerland rental car in certain countries is prohibited or only possible with restrictions (i. e. for vehicle categories).
