Early return

If you need your vehicle for less than the end of the rental period specified in the rental data, you can return it to the Hertz station. We ask that you give advance notice of the early return. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee to compensate for the additional administrative costs incurred due to an early return. A refund for unused rental days is excluded.

In the event of an early return of a subscribed vehicle (long-term rental):

• When returned within 30 days from the start of the contract, the subscription contract will be converted into a normal rental contract and the rate for daily rentals will be applied for the complete period of use.
• For returns from the 31st day, a flat rate of 50% of the outstanding fees will be charged until the end of the regular contract period.
