In the event of a late return, a current standard rental rate will be charged on the basis of a daily rate for each 24-hour window that has elapsed from the return time specified in the rental data. In addition, we will charge a flat fee of CHF 14.00 to partially compensate us for the costs we incur to obtain an alternative vehicle for the next reservation of your rental vehicle and to contact you regarding the return of the vehicle.

We reserve the right to charge an additional fee to compensate for the additional administrative costs incurred due to the late return.

To accommodate you in the event of a minor delay, we grant a goodwill period of 29 minutes. If the vehicle is returned within this goodwill time, you will not be charged for an additional rental day and any additional fees will also be waived. This goodwill time can be changed by agreement.

If the rental period specified in the rental agreement is exceeded, we are entitled to take possession of the vehicle at any time or to obtain it at your expense. This also applies to long-term rentals (30 days or more) in the event that you are more than 5 days in arrears with the agreed rentals or it is foreseeable that you can no longer meet the obligations of the rental contract.
