Cancellation
If your travel plans change, Hertz allows you to cancel a reservation. Cancellation can be done online via the reservation page or by calling the reservation center at +41 (0)84 882 20 20. Depending on the type of reservation and the time of cancellation, a cancellation fee may apply.
Reservations with the option «Pay now»
You can cancel your reservation free of charge no later than midnight two full days before the start of the rental period. The prepaid amount will be refunded to the debit/credit card specified at the time of reservation. If the cancellation is made later than midnight two full days before the start of the rental, Hertz will deduct a handling fee of CHF 65.00 incl. VAT.
Reservations with the option «Pay later»
Cancellation is possible up to the start of the rental period without any cost consequences. If the reservation is not cancelled before the scheduled pick-up time, a no-show fee of CHF 65.00 incl. VAT will be due.
